The overpowering smell in my room was off-putting, and the non-opening window only added to the discomfort. I found the lack of staff presence startling, making it hard to figure out basic amenities, like where to find a dining area or who to talk to for assistance. it felt impersonal and confusing, particularly when the intercom system seemed to be the only point of contact with the hotel.
